Looking for some nice new games to play on your Android smartphone? If that's the case, you might be pleased to hear that several games that are usually paid are now available for free on Google Play.
This collection features several different genres, so we've made sure to include an image and video plus a short description below each title in order to aid you in the selection process.
Also, make sure to check out the end of sale times for each game below the respective download link. At the time of writing (May 16), some of these titles only have about several hours left in their "freebie" period, so it's advisable to download anything that you like fast. Without further ado, let's see what's on the list!
If you were to only look at screenshots, you'd probably assume that Spoiler Alert is a typical and badly drawn platformer game. However, the title offers a very interesting twist - basically, the game starts off as finished, and you have to undo the entire adventure. This includes moving and jumping backwards, reviving the bad guys and bosses, and uncollecting all the coins until you return to the beginning. Spoiler Alert reminds us of the glorious times when we were kids and took turns while playing Super Mario, yet the experience is strangely new and alluring.
Biome Survival Online War can be best described as a combination between Minecraft and Counter Strike. You get a total of 4 weapons - three ranged and one axe. As the game was paid, it didn't manage to draw a whole lot of people, but the fact that it's now free changes things. There's a high chance that you might stumble upon a fellow PhoneArena user or author while playing, so feel free to download it for a bit of mindless fun.
Ever wanted to give Terraria a try but didn't want to splash the cash? If that's the case, Etaria offers a pretty similar experience. You spawn into a randomly generated side-scrolling world. Chop down trees, collect rocks, minerals, and food in the quest of building your very own village.
We're finishing off the selection with a wonderful game from errorsevendev. CELL 13 is a "physics puzzle" title, featuring 13 big levels and over 65 unique puzzles. If you've ever got the chance to play Portal 2, this game feels a lot like it, although the action plays out from a different perspective. Use crates, balls, glass, elevators, laser bridges, and portals to navigate thrpugh the levels. Individually, these objects may not be useful, but when used together with your creativity, you may find a solution to escape the cells.
