Huawei MateBook E 2-in-1 Windows tablet launches in the US starting at $799.99

-

Huawei just announced that the MateBook E, its convertible tablet unveiled back in May, will be available to pre-order in the US starting tomorrow, June 30.

Interested customers will find the Huawei MateBook E on Amazon and Newegg at the following prices: $799.99 (Titanium Gray version with 7th Generation Intel Core m3 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage space), and $999.99 (Champagne Gold version with 7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage space).

Running Windows 10 Home, the Huawei MateBook E can certainly be seen as an alternative to Microsoft's new Surface Pro. Made out of aluminum, the device has a 12-inch IPS display with 1440 x 2160 pixels, and comes with a Folio Keyboard (at no extra cost) that transforms it into a laptop. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, dual speakers with Dolby Audio Premium sound, and a 4,430 mAh battery.

The Huawei MateBook E comes with one free year of Microsoft Office 365 Personal software, while a MatePen stylus will be available at extra cost. So, is anyone here planning to buy this new 2-in-1 tablet?
